About Us
Adorn is a mother-daughter-owned shop in East Orleans that features a curated selection of jewelry, art, and unique home goods. With its focus on fine, handcrafted items, Adorn supports independent artists, designers, and makers, many of whom are local to Cape Cod. The selection of unique items is always growing and offers the very best in handmade jewelry, accessories, home décor, plants, textiles, ceramics, greeting cards and more!
The shop was founded in 2015 by Jenny and Molly Avellar, who were both born and raised on Cape Cod and still call Orleans home today. Their creative personalities are partly inherited, as Vernon B. Smith, a renowned Cape Cod artist, was Jenny’s grandfather and Molly’s great-grandfather. With their shop, Jenny and Molly highlight the artistic energy that abounds on Cape Cod. Molly’s own jewelry studio is housed in Adorn, and her handcrafted pieces are inspired by the beauty of the Cape’s landscapes and oceanscapes. Visitors to Adorn can browse the ever-changing assortment of one-of-a-kind pieces that Molly creates and chat with Molly about all aspects of her design process.
