DESCRIPTION:The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents A Forest Bathing Meditation Walk and Poetry Retreat with CCMNH Field Guide Carol Marcy Wednesday\, June 12\, 2024\n\n12pm-3:30pm   Rain date Tuesday\, June 18\n\n \n\nCalm your mind\, deepen your breath\, bathe in the magnificence of pine scented air\, the songs of birds\, the thousand shades of green\, the gentle breeze singing in the trees\, caressing your skin\, and opening your heart to the heart of the Earth and the infinite reach of Sky and Sun. Feel woven into the web of life dancing with all of creation. Gather the stories of trees\, the secret whispers of insects\, the choreography of wind dancing the marsh grasses.  \n\n \n\nAt the end of the walk\, a brief meditation will open the flow of creative energy into weaving these experiences into verse\, song\, and poem. No experience in writing poetry is necessary. Time will also allow for participants to read and receive positive\, and constructive feedback in a supportive environment.\n\n \n\nPlease bring water and writing material (paper\, pen\, iPad\, or tablet) (no cameras).  These materials will be left in your car to be picked up after the walk and before the writing portion begins.
