DESCRIPTION:20 quality dealers will be offering a wide variety of unique items for sale at the Centers for Culture and History in Orleans (CHO) Antique Show on Saturday\, June 13\, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The show will be on the Meetinghouse grounds at the corner of Main Street and River Road\, on the way to Nauset Beach. Admission is $5 and children under 15 are free when accompanied by an adult.\n\n\n\nThe CHO will have its own table at the show\, selling donated items either from its collection or from area residents. Anyone wishing to donate genuine antiques (not tag sale/garage sale items) for the show may drop them off at the Hurd Chapel on the CHO campus on Tuesday and Wednesday\, May 28-29\, between 1 and 4 pm. Small furniture\, oriental rugs\, original art\, and jewelry are examples of items that would be most appreciated. \n\n\n\nThis annual show\, in cooperation with the Antique Dealers Association\, has an excellent reputation with dealers as well as the general public. Among the antiques for sale will be vintage jewelry\, nautical- and country-style items and furniture\, stoneware\, and more.\n\n\n\nConcurrent with the show\, CHO's "Pathfounders: Women of Plymouth" exhibition will be open inside the Meetinghouse. The exhibition features displays and biographical mini-films presenting the voices of Pilgrim and Wampanoag women who lived along the shores of Plymouth and Cape Cod in the 17th century. In addition\, on display are texts\, maps\, models\, and other items chronicling the seven founding families of the Outer Cape\n\nin the 1640s.\n\n\n\nSave the date and plan to visit the show and exhibition rain or shine. There is plenty of parking in the level\, paved lot behind the Meetinghouse. All admissions benefit the CHO/Orleans Historical Society\, a non-profit organization.
