DESCRIPTION:Mediation Skills Training teaches you how to better manage conflict at work and at home and how to empower people to create their own resolution. You will learn skills to help people to define their own resolutions. It is difficult to move forward when we are in conflict. Learn to better manage conflict at work and at home.\n\nTake the first steps in becoming a mediator\, enroll in our Remote Basic Mediation Skills Training. Cape Cod Dispute Resolution Center\, Inc.\, d/b/a Cape Mediation\, is a private nonprofit center and is a leader in Dispute Resolution. Since 1989 we have offered unparalleled high-quality dispute resolution services and training.\n\nOur Intensive Basic Mediation Training is for those who want to learn the general practice of mediation. It examines the procedures\, skills and strategies used by mediators. The training is highly interactive and meets the requirements of Rule 8 of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's Uniform Rules on Dispute Resolution.  Our mediation training teaches skills that will help you to better manage conflict.\n\nThe training begins on May 28th and is a fully-remote five-week course that meets once each week\, with full-day classes. Our training includes theory discussions\, plus more than 18 hours of hands-on role-play practice and interactive exercises. In addition to the regularly scheduled classes\, our training includes live online weekly office hours so participants have the opportunity to meet with our experienced trainers one-on-one.\n\nClass Schedule: Full day classes from 9-12 PM and 1:30-4:30 PM.\n\nThe training fee: $850\n\nEarly Registration Discount:  A $50 discount will be applied if you register and pay by May 21\n\nTuition Assistance: Scholarship assistance is available\, contact us at info@capemediation.org to inquire.
