About Us
Wellfleet Bay offers peace and unmatched natural beauty along the hillsides and shoreline overlooking Wellfleet Harbor. Its extensive trail network leads visitors through panoramic salt marshes, a sandy barrier beach, and pine woodlands—each teeming with a rich variety of wildlife. A wide range of engaging programs for school groups and the public invites participants to connect deeply with the natural world. Through hands-on volunteer opportunities, individuals can also take an active role in meaningful scientific research. Visitors of all ages will enjoy our indoor exhibit hall, while the outdoor, accessible nature play area offers a fun and relaxing escape for families.
