Interested in taking part in MassRIDES? This free program of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is designed to help reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality and mobility. MassRIDES works with both employers and commuters within the Commonwealth to promote the use of commute options such as vanpooling, carpooling, bicycling, taking transit, walking, and telecommuting. Through the use of NuRide, the statewide ridematching and rewards program, you can get rewarded for your green trips. Employees who commute green at least twice a week are also eligible for our Emergency Ride Home program, which may be used up to four times per calendar year. MassRIDES provides you with this free commuter insurance and will reimburse you up to $100 per ride if you need to take a taxi, rental car, or get a ride home with a coworker in the event of an unexpected emergency. For more information, contact Cape Cod’s Outreach Coordinator Kyle Bonus at Kyle.Bonus@dot.state.ma.us or (267) 210-2815.
