About Us

The Orleans Cultural District is administered by the Orleans Community Partnership.

Mission, Activities and Board...
The Orleans Community Partnership (OCP) is dedicated to championing cultural, environmental, and economic vitality of Orleans and its surrounding region.

The OCP envisions an Orleans Cultural Campus with destinations like a Maritime Heritage Center featuring a museum of arts and sciences, concert, theatre, and cinema venues, life-long learning opportunities for all ages and streetscape settings that include piazzas, pocket parks, public art, and safe, inviting way-finding for pedestrians, bikes and cars. Ultimately, the OCP exists for the benefit those who reside in or visit the area.

The OCP is following-up on recommendations made in the Village Center Initiative sponsored by the Town of Orleans and its Planning Board, and the Orleans Chamber of Commerce, with the dedicated assistance of citizens and community organizations. The OCP is also committed to listening to and incorporating new ideas from all constituencies.

To carry out these charges, the OCP collaborates with community groups, individuals, businesses, and government to promote and implement projects that maintain and increase the reputation of Orleans as ?the hub of the lower Cape.
