About Us
The Nauset Rotary Club members are a local group of Rotarians who are neighbors, business owners and employees brought together to help others who need assistance with their everyday challenges. The club leverages their Rotary pledge of "Service Above Self" by supporting other local organizations with hands on participation and funding where possible, striving to help those in need. The club is currently engaged in projects that include but are not limited to:
Covering weekly Meals-on-Wheels routes in Orleans and Brewster
Assisting the Lower Cape Outreach Council's food pantry management and other chores needing volunteer participation
Assisting the Homeless Prevention Council with small emergency grants, fund raising and other projects needing volunteer support
Participating in Habitat for Humanity affordable housing projects with onsite assistance with house construction and limited funding
Responding to requests for funding from local groups needing funds for specific projects
Funding college scholarships for Nauset Regional High School students
Funding toolships for Cape Cod Regional Technical High School students
Sponsoring Sea Scout Ship and Explorer Club 72 as their Charter Organization including providing funds for their operations
Assisting with other community service projects where possible
Donating to the Rotary International Foundation which supports important worldwide projects such as the "Elimination of Polio" and "Clean Water for All Peoples"
