Artists from Away Inspired by our World

Featuring works by international artists inspired by Cape Cod. Dock, boat, shore and town scenes by Frank Gardner will hang alongside delicate florals and intricate shells by Sara Jane Doberstein. In featuring a trio of international artists, the Addison Art Gallery will include master works by Olivier Suire Verley, an artist popular throughout France and with a following in Asia and Africa as well as in the United States. Guests will also be treated to live music by Larry Murray.

Gardner, based in Mexico, has long been a frequent visitor to Cape Cod where he captures beloved beaches and iconic land scenes. In a delightful complement, Canadian Doberstein’s works highlight the gentle textures of florals and natural, detailed geometry of sand and shells. Verley’s distinctive woodland and shoreline scenes capture energy and emotion.
