Beginning and Maintaining A Nature Journal with Mary Richmond

Cape Cod Chronicle nature columnist and illustrator, Mary Richmond, is offering a three week nature journal class to either jumpstart your practice or encourage you to maintain it. We will work in pencil, colored pencils, watercolors, and ink. A 6 x 9” mixed media sketchbook is recommended but any size is fine. Bring whatever materials you like to the first class. Weather permitting we will work outdoors but there is plenty to work on indoors as well.

Possible subjects to be decided by students include birds, botanicals, sea life, mammals and insects.
