Cape Cod Macrofungi Lecture

Join Cape Cod naturalist Thomas Walker in the Craine Room of Snow Library for a lecture on the macrofungi that are found on Cape Cod. Macrofungi, otherwise known as mushrooms, take on many forms and roles within their environments. The unique landscape of Cape Cod contains diverse populations of mushrooms that are crucial to the land and all its inhabitants. Thomas will guide the audience on a journey into the wonderful world of macrofungi by sharing pictures of specimens he has seen throughout the years and explaining their unique features.
