Cape Symphony: Music From West Side Story and the Americas

Classical 2

Celebrate the rhythms and voices of the Americas! Gabriela Lena Frank’s Three Latin American Dances bursts with energy and color, and Tania León’s Pasajes evokes the exuberance of her Cuban childhood. Selections from Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story bring intensity, romance, and theatrical flair to a concert alive with movement and passion.

Ticketholders are invited to an entertaining and informative talk about the concert program given by Assistant Conductor Joe Marchio, beginning one hour before each performance.
