As part of the Gardening for Life Speaker Series, the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents Colors of the Cape Cod Canal, presented by Park Ranger, Corina Danielson, Sunday, March 24, 2024 at 1pm.
Join Park Ranger Corina Danielson for a journey through the seasons just off the banks of the Cape Cod Canal. From the quiet bloom of the snow-melting skunk cabbage to the showy parade of goldenrod bursting to life at the peak of autumn, watch as the Canal transforms with every season. We will cover some of the most distinct and noticeable wildflowers as they come into bloom around the Canal.
Corina is a Park Ranger for the US Army Corps of Engineers at the Cape Cod Canal. Originally from New Hampshire, she spent her summers searching for small mammals in the mountains, and now, spends summers searching for small birds on the beach! Her favorite season of all on Cape Cod is late fall...to find out why, you'll have to attend the presentation!
