Join us in the Craine Room of Snow Library for a concert by award-winning folk singer-songwriter Kim Moberg, accompanied by fiddler Heather Swanson.
Kim started her music career by collaborating with Grammy-nominated producer Jon Evans to produce her debut album Above Ground in 2017. Since then, she has released two more albums, continuing her skillful weaving of lyrics into musical stories with compositions that tug at feelings of melancholy, heartbreak, healing, and social consciousness. Her latest album, The Seven Fires Prophecy: Suite for Humanity, was released last year and ties the ancient Anishinaabe prophecy to our current social environment. The project blossomed from Kim’s desire to share what she learned about Indigenous teachings and the important and relevant life lessons they offer.
Admission is free, but seating is limited. All are welcome. Sponsored by the Helen Telfair Trust.
