Workshop: Conflict as an Opportunity for Positive Change
Conflict is all around us and often pushes us apart from each other. But when we use the right tools to engage in difficult conversations, conflict can become an opportunity for growth, build stronger relationships, and create positive change. In this hands-on, highly interactive workshop we will introduce you to practical skills that build trust and help others feel heard, respected and valued. You will learn the basics of Active Listening, Problem Solving, Listening Circles, and more, helping you to better understand conflict from opposing points of view.
This course meets on two Wednesdays, March 20 and March 27, from 6-8PM at the Nauset Regional Middle School in Orleans. The course will be taught by a team of instructors from Cape Mediation, a leader in Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management for over 30 years.
