Rita Parisi of Waterfall Productions will be the hostess for a 1908 Tea at the CHO on Sunday, May 5th at 2:00 PM. At the turn of the last century, afternoon tea provided ladies a chance to socialize and discuss fashion, family, and social concerns. In the character of Mrs. Gordon, a woman from 1908, Rita will entertain her audience with stories about life at the turn of the 20th century and a recent trip to Boston as you enjoy light refreshments. Teas in Times are interactive shows where the audience is free to ask questions of Mrs. Gordon and can share their own stories and their own "2 cents" if they wish. The audience will feel as if they are speaking to a woman from the turn of the 20th century.
Rita Parisi has been entertaining audiences for over 25 years in the New England area. In 2002, she founded Waterfall Productions to create shows that highlight her passion for theatre, history, literature, and costuming. She's had the pleasure of performing these shows all over New England, New Jersey, New York, and more recently in Florida. Rita Parisi is a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, the largest acting union in the country, and some of her films have debuted at the Boston International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
