Summer Performing Arts Camp for Kids
Arts Empowering Life offers performing arts camps for K-12 at the new Performing Arts Center. Days run 9am- 2pm.
Available from July 9 to August 14, 2024
Strings?Tuesdays: Chamber music, fiddling, bowing technique, and music by Baroque, Classical, Romantic,
and Contemporary composers
Theatre?Tuesdays: Improvisation, storytelling, and stagecraft, using the body and imagination to bring a character to life
Percussion?Wednesdays: Drum circles, rhythms in nature, stick and mallet skills, and many percussion styles and music
Brass/Woodwind?Wednesdays: Discover your best sound through small group and full ensemble work and music theory and rhythm basics and beyond.
Registration is flexible. Come for just one or two days or sign up for the six-week session. Lunch and snacks are provided. Instruction caters to each individual?s level.
