Dr. Michael Pregot, an author and educator, will be holding a talk about the history of whaling in the Snow Library's Craine Room on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 4 p.m. Dr. Pregot will discuss different historical figures who made an impact on the industry, as well as explain the different types of boats and tools that were used to hunt whales. The program is free and no registration is required. All are welcome.
