About Us

READYMADE Gallery in Orleans, MA, opened by Nick Lawrence in 2023, is the new satellite of Freight + Volume in NYC as well as a showcase for the DNA Artist Residency in Provincetown. READYMADE hosts an eclectic program of group exhibitions from May through November, featuring the work of Freight + Volume artists and invited guests at the residency.



The DNA residency, now entering its 12th season, hosts 30-50 artists per year for one or two week stays. While on the Cape, artists have access to 2,000 square feet of studio space in Provincetown, housing in Orleans and Eastham, and create new work inspired by their surroundings or continued from their existing studio practice.
