Outdoor Living Sales Specialist – Full Time or Part Time – Year round
A customer service – oriented, retail sales driven associate to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve excellent customer service (including follow-up and resolution of any issues) while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
- Generating sales (outdoor patio furniture, grills, etc.) from leads to closing sales. Confirm customer’s needs before they leave the store.
- Working closely with customers in conversation to determine their needs, answer questions about our products, share features and benefits and recommend the right solutions to meet their needs.
- Provide customers with assistance and product information including utilizing websites, catalogs, and vendor product knowledge to give the customer a well-rounded experience.
- Remain knowledgeable and up to date on all vendor product training and discuss available options.
- Process POS (Point of Sale) purchases. Work with buyers on special orders and incoming receipts.
- Scheduling delivery of outdoor furniture, grills with associate delivery drivers.
- Work in a team setting with co-worker Sales Specialists and Associate Delivery Drivers to meet the customer’s needs.
- Maintain presentation standards on the salesfloor. Replenish stock and new receipts.

- Sales experience (at least 1 year preferred)

- Store Hours 9:30-4:00 (January – March) and 9:30-5:30 Monday – Saturday (April – September), Sundays 10 – 4 (Memorial Day – mid-August)
